Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM) in Chennai, established in 2004, is a premier business school offering a range of management programs. The institute is situated on a 32-acre campus in Kanchipuram, approximately an hour’s drive from Chennai city. GLIM is accredited by AMBA, AACSB, SAQS, and NBA, and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Programs Offered:

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM): A two-year full-time residential program designed for candidates with up to 36 months of work experience.
  • Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM): A one-year full-time residential program tailored for professionals with 24 to 36 months of work experience.

Specializations:

Both programs offer specializations in Marketing, Finance, Operations, Organizational Behavior/Human Resources/Strategy, and Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Analytics (AIMLA).

Admission Process:

Candidates must have a minimum of 60% in their undergraduate degree. Admission is based on scores from CAT, XAT, GMAT, or CMAT exams. The typical percentile range for shortlisted candidates is 85-98% in CAT/XAT and 600-760 in GMAT. The selection process includes an Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and a Personal Interview (PI).

Fees:

The tuition fees for the PGDM program range from ₹9 lakh to ₹11.2 lakh, depending on the specific courses and facilities. The PGPM program has a fee of ₹19.95 lakh.

Placements:

GLIM has a strong placement record, with top recruiters including J.P. Morgan, BNY Mellon, and ICICI Bank. The average salary for the PGDM batch is approximately ₹6.55 lakh per annum, with the highest package around ₹12 lakh per annum.
